As the largest sporting event in history reaches its conclusion, the FIFA World Cup 2026 closing ceremony, taking place 90 minutes ahead of the final match, will feature performances from some of the biggest names in music and entertainment.
Grammy-nominated rapper and singer Post Malone will headline the closing ceremony, with the show also featuring performances from Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams and IShowSpeed, alongside a special appearance by Tom Cruise.
Meanwhile, Madonna, Shakira and Justin Bieber will line up with K-pop supergroup BTS to headline the first-ever World Cup final half-time show at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is set to curate the extravaganza, which is scheduled for July 19.
Other performers include Nigerian singer Burna Boy, acclaimed Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, beloved Sesame Street characters and local New York choir PS22, who will join Coldplay for a special performance.
The event aims to raise awareness and money for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which has set a $100 million fundraising goal to support quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
