A diverse array of activities and events are being organised across the kingdom to celebrate International Museum Day, held annually on May 18.
The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca) revealed more than a dozen events between May 17 and 31 to mark the day which was first co-ordinated in 1977 and offers the opportunity for museums to discuss the challenges they face, and raise public awareness of the role they play in the development of society .
