His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met US Ambassador Steven C Bondy at Riffa Palace.
He affirmed that the long-standing Bahrain-US strategic relationship is founded on mutually beneficial co-operation and a strong record of enduring partnerships.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the mutual commitment to strengthening co-ordination, including through agreements such as the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).
He also emphasised the importance of further advancing co-operation between Bahrain and the United States to create promising opportunities that benefit both countries and their peoples.
HRH Prince Salman underscored the prominent role of the United States, alongside allies, in safeguarding security and stability in the region and around the world.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations, exchanged views on issues of common interest and reviewed latest regional and international developments.
Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad Al Malki also attended the meeting.
