Students, teachers and officials of Bhavans-Bahrain Indian School marked World Environment Day 2025 under the theme ‘Let’s Stand Together for the Earth – Because Every Small Step Counts’.
The day featured a special morning assembly which included thought-provoking skits, speeches and songs about environmental conservation.
In classrooms, students engaged in meaningful discussions on climate change, pollution and sustainable living. In an activity titled “Best Out of Waste” students transformed discarded materials into creative and functional masterpieces.
The kindergarteners took part in hands-on, age-appropriate eco-friendly activities – crafting beautiful projects using recycled materials and waste products, exploring basic STEAM concepts, and dressing in vibrant green outfits to represent Mother Earth.
Directors Himanshu and Ritu Verma along with principal Saji Jacob applauded the students’ efforts and creativity.
