Warning sirens were heard across Bahrain this morning as the General Directorate of Civil Defence conducted a nationwide test of the kingdom’s emergency alert system.
The test, which began at 9am, was part of precautionary civil protection measures aimed at reviewing and enhancing the National Emergency Response Plan .
