About 200kg of rabbit fish (safi) on sale in Salman Town was seized for being allegedly caught using illegal bottom trawl nets.
The Coastguard patrols also arrested two people in Sitra and Salman Town coast with 394kg of shrimp reportedly caught in violation of a ban, using environmentally damaging trawl nets, said a statement yesterday .
