Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received Deputy Interior Minister Lieutenant General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, Public Security Chief Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, Interior Ministry Under-Secretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and other senior officials, on the success of this year’s processions season.
Gen Shaikh Rashid conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He emphasised that His Majesty’s appreciation of the ministry’s security and community services, which contributed to the success of the commemoration, is a source of pride.
This recognition inspires a strong sense of responsibility to fulfil the ministry’s important role in maintaining security and public order.
He also commended the government’s support, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
General Shaikh Rashid thanked the governors for their role, their constant communication and their field work to overcome obstacles, within the framework of co-ordination and follow-up efforts.
He highlighted the role of the security officers, non-commissioned officers and personnel in their professional performance.
Gen Shaikh Rashid also commended the commitment and co-operation shown by the heads of ma’atams, their attendants and visitors, embodying community partnership, which emphasises the feature of awareness and national responsibility, wishing them all success in serving the nation.
