Isuzu marked a major milestone, officially unveiling its all-new S&E Heavy-Duty Truck Series in Bahrain at a ceremony held recently at the Gulf Convention Centre, Manama.
Designed to deliver enhanced power, efficiency and dependability, the S&E Series brings a new era of performance to businesses across the transport and logistics industries in the region’s commercial vehicle sector.
The series features advancements in driver comfort, safety and fuel economy, along with a more accessible maintenance design that reduces downtime and cost of ownership.
Present at the unveiling ceremony were Isuzu Motors International vice-president Hirokazu Maruyama, Ebrahim K Kanoo deputy chief executive Craig Hardie, Motor City commercial general manager Arun Kumar, Isuzu Bahrain dealer principal Manoj Pillai and Isuzu Motors International FZE sales manager Amer Ansouqa.
Key partners, fleet customers and industry professionals were also in attendance.
Mr Maruyama expressed his gratitude for the trust and support of the customers in the region, especially Bahrain.
“It is because of you that we can grow and bring in new products,” he said.
“I would also like to give special thanks to our partners in the region, especially Motor City, who have done an excellent job with the Isuzu brand in Bahrain.
“It is your hard work and dedication that makes this possible.”
Mr Kumar said that the new series reflected Isuzu’s continued commitment to smart engineering and real-world performance, engineered to serve industries where reliability is non-negotiable.
“The S&E Series is not just an upgrade, it’s a transformation,” he said.
“These trucks are built to handle the demands of today’s operators, combining raw strength with refined control and improved efficiency, all while staying true to Isuzu’s reputation for long-term durability.”
Mr Hardie, meanwhile, stated that Isuzu is the heart and cornerstone of the Motor City brand, expressing his joy in the unveiling of the new series.
“It is the flagship, known globally for its exceptional engines, reliability and durability.
“Isuzu stands as a market leader across the region, including Bahrain, boasting an impressive market share of 40 per cent.
“The series has earned its trust among business across Bahrain.”
Customers have already expressed their enthusiasm to purchase the new series of trucks, with some of them, such as Nasser Abd Mohammed Company (NAMCO) general manager Mohammed Abd Mohammed, praising Isuzu’s ‘unrivalled’ machinery.
“We have been using the long chassis trucks for a while, and I can say without a doubt that Isuzu trucks are the best we have ever used,” he told the GDN, on the sidelines of the ceremony.
“We have the previous generation, which we mainly use for the transportation of oil and industry products, and they are unrivalled compared to some other trucks we have used. I do not have a single complaint.”
