The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), and Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), have signed a joint framework agreement to continue enhancing national cyber security skills.
The agreement was signed by NCSC chief executive Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and BIBF CEO Dr Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh and includes specialised training programmes held during the third edition of the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference and Exhibition (AICS 2025).
The event will take place on November 5 and 6 at the Exhibition World Bahrain under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
The initiative supports Bahrain’s strategy to build a sustainable digital environment and enhance partnerships to develop qualified cybersecurity professionals.
AICS 2025 serves as a key international platform for experts and decision-makers to share knowledge, improve readiness against cyber threats and promote national collaboration.
The conference will include workshops and discussions on critical infrastructure protection, secure digital transformation, AI and data security.
BIBF emphasised that digital transformation is vital to Bahrain’s economic growth and security, highlighting investment in human capital through ongoing training and certifications.
More than 10,000 participants from 50 countries and 100-plus global speakers are expected, alongside youth programmes to prepare future cyber leaders.
