The campaign officially kicks off on Friday at Al Hilal Medical Centre Manama Central, with free blood testing, starting at 7.30am, covering blood sugar, total cholesterol, kidney function (creatinine), liver screening and uric acid.
Complimentary doctor consultations will also be available.
“I am truly grateful for this collaboration. We understand that hosting such a campaign comes at a cost, and I sincerely thank Al Hilal for consistently stepping forward with such generosity,” said Ms Louis.
“For the embassy, the health and welfare of our nationals is a top priority. Initiatives like these not only improve lives but also strengthen the diplomatic ties between embassies and private sector partners. We want the Filipino community to know that the Healthy Pinoy Campaign will now be held every August in collaboration with Al Hilal Healthcare Group.”
Dr Chandran added: “Thank you to the Philippine Embassy for their unwavering support. As a leading healthcare provider in the kingdom, Al Hilal is committed to supporting the Filipino community through continued access to quality healthcare. We will continue to champion such initiatives that promote wellness and accessibility.
“I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Ambassador Anne Jalando-on Louis for her inspiring leadership and dedication to the welfare of the Filipino people in Bahrain. Her proactive engagement and warmth have played a key role in the success of this collaboration.”
