FOOTBALL – The Bahrain Football Association (BFA) organised a child protection course in football, in line with the requirements of Fifa and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
The programme was a level one course, held over two days and supervised by BFA lecturers Mahmood Mansoor and Ali Hassan, who addressed the legal and educational aspects related to child care in sports.
According to Fifa and AFC directives, child protection principles must be mainstreamed in all clubs, academies, and sports institutions concerned with developing players in various age groups.
The course was part of the BFA’s strategy to implement the highest standards of integrity and respect within the football system. Above, participants with officials at the conclusion of the course.
