A special pavilion that combines education and entertainment for children has been set up at Dragon City Bahrain as part of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Citizenship (Bahrainouna).
The stand, which will be open until September 20, features a number of innovative and interactive platforms designed to reflect national values, foster community spirit and engage children, youth and families alike.
Visitors begin their journey at the welcome platform, where they are guided to explore the pavilion’s diverse programmes and activities via a QR code.
A dedicated screen continuously showcases films highlighting various Bahrainouna initiatives and achievements.
Among the most prominent features is the Defend Our National Values competition, where participants take part in seven interactive rounds that reinforce national values, earning coupons to qualify for the “Spin and Win” activity.
Visitors can also enjoy the Tree of Values game, which tests their knowledge of Bahrain’s core principles, while children are catered to through the My Nation Magazine corner, offering fun, educational activities focused on national values and Bahraini heritage.
The pavilion also includes a photography corner where visitors can take commemorative photos in national attire for sharing on social media.
The experience concludes with a popular Spin and Win game, offering participants the chance to win valuable prizes.
Bahrainouna executive office director Hala Sulaiman extended her gratitude to Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa for his continuous support of the initiative.
“This backing has been instrumental in reinforcing the campaign’s mission to instill values of belonging and citizenship through innovative mechanisms rooted in community engagement,” she said.
“Bahrainouna continues to expand its outreach across universities, governorates, and national events such as Youth City 2030, ensuring its presence reaches all segments of society.
“These efforts translate ideas into impactful initiatives that strengthen national identity and foster pride in Bahrain’s values.”
People are encouraged to visit the pavilion and experience its diverse programmes which promise an enriching journey that embodies national values with a vibrant and youthful spirit.
Bahrainouna is an initiative aimed at strengthening national identity and citizenship values by co-ordinating efforts across public and private sectors.
The plan focuses on unifying various organisations within a unified strategy, implementing programmes related to the spirit of belonging.
It uses social media and media and curriculum development to foster national roots and identity, along with developing initiatives and performance indicators to measure their impact.
The plan was designed as part of Bahrain’s comprehensive reform programme and royal vision to enhance national unity under the interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
