The Crown Prince’s Court yesterday announced that His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, will undertake an official visit to Japan.
The visit underscores the mutual unwavering commitment to strengthening the longstanding ties between the two countries, in support of achieving shared aspirations.
During the visit, HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister is scheduled to meet Japan’s Emperor Naruhito, and several senior Japanese officials, to discuss ways to enhance co-operation.
He will also attend Expo 2025 Osaka, and witness Bahrain’s National Day celebrations, which will be held under his patronage.
The event, at Bahrain’s pavilion themed ‘Connecting Seas’, comes as part of initiatives and programmes carried out by participating countries, with the aim of deepening understanding between participants, enhancing cultural exchange, and contributing to the strengthening of international relations.
According to the official Expo Osaka 2025 website, Bahrain’s National Day celebration will take place on September 18, and feature special activities for the global audience.
Bahrain’s pavilion continues to weave the story of Bahrain’s culture and civilisation in Japan, bringing together heritage, innovation, and the spirit of creativity, while offering visitors from across the world a rich experience that reflects the kingdom’s maritime history and its role as a meeting point for cultures and civilisations.
