Nine people, including a couple and their five children, have died in a horrific two-vehicle crash in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.
The accident occurred on the Al Uqair Al Uyun road when two cars collided, killing seven members of one family and two young men travelling in the second vehicle.
Emergency services rushed to the scene following the collision, which left both vehicles extensively damaged.
Preliminary investigations by authorities attributed the fatal crash to a sudden lane swerve.
The Eastern Province Traffic Department confirmed that necessary legal and procedural measures are underway.
