Three people were killed and another critically injured after a speeding car lost control, crashed through a boundary wall, and fell off a bridge on Mumbai's Coastal Road on Sunday.
The vehicle was travelling from Marine Drive towards Haji Ali when it lost control and plunged into an active construction site below.
All four occupants were rushed to hospital, where doctors declared three of them dead on arrival, including the driver, with the deceased aged between 17 and 21.
The sole survivor, a 23-year-old male who was sitting in the front passenger seat, remains in critical condition in the trauma ward.
Photos from the scene showed the black BMW severely crushed, with its roof caved in, windshield shattered, and front bumper entirely torn off after ripping through an overhead signboard during the fall.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
