The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority is organising a bus tour tomorrow to celebrate World Tourism Day, in co-operation with the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry and Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (GDN, Sept 25).
Unfortunately, only two buses have apparently been arranged and there is no seat available. I request the authorities concerned to add two more buses for interested participants.
It will be a great and good time to promote public transport by possibly adding additional buses or vehicles in response to public demand.
Hope the respective authorities will consider extra transport to promote tourism and culture on this World Tourism Day.
With the climate getting better, maybe open double decker buses can be deployed too for the tour.
