Kuwait Traffic Sector stated that the operations room efficiently handled 2,465 reports, while recording 1,166 traffic accidents, including 175 that resulted in injuries.
The weekly statistics highlighted violations like speeding, illegal parking, lane drifting, and vehicle infractions, showing that campaigns continue at a very high pace.
It added that 42 individuals were placed in detention, seven juveniles were referred to specialised authorities, and 32 wanted fugitives were handed over to the competent bodies.
The sector confirmed these campaigns will continue daily, featuring an intensified field presence along main traffic axes, strategic locations, and vital checkpoints nationwide.
It emphasised achieving the highest safety levels to protect road users, urging all drivers to follow traffic rules and cooperate with police to avoid accidents.
Meanwhile, the Rescue Police executed 1,402 security missions across different governorates, aiming to boost security, enforce discipline, and respond immediately to incoming emergency reports.
The Ministry reiterated that round-the-clock field efforts will persist to safeguard citizens and residents, effectively reinforcing strict traffic compliance throughout all areas of Kuwait.
