National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) chairperson Ali Al Derazi yesterday received political officer at the European Union Delegation to Bahrain Simona Elena Carsoche.
The meeting discussed issues of common interest and means to strengthen co-operation between the European Union and the NIHR, particularly in the field of human rights, in support of shared objectives and sustainable development efforts.
Ms Carsoche commended the NIHR’s efforts in the field of human rights and its commitment to enhancing communication and co-operation with international partners.
