Kuwait’s Foreign Affairs Minister Abdullah Al Yahya announced on Saturday that two Kuwaiti citizens who participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza have been released and are on their way back home. In a statement to KUNA, the minister said officials have been closely following the matter.
He affirmed that the released Kuwaiti nationals are in good condition and that he is exerting efforts to secure the release of a third Kuwaiti citizen who participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla.
The ministry expressed its gratitude to Bahrain, Jordan, Türkiye, and other brotherly and friendly states for their co-operation that led to the release of the Kuwaiti citizens.
