A Palestinian woman was hospitalised after a masked Israeli settler assaulted her with a wooden club on her own land.
The unprovoked attack which happened on Sunday was filmed by American journalist Jasper Nathaniel.
Mr Nathaniel said that the woman was knocked to the ground unconscious by the attacker, before being struck again.
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) told the BBC the confrontation was dispersed after its forces arrived, and that it ‘strongly condemns any form of violence’ by settlers.
But Mr Nathaniel rejected this account, claiming ‘no Israeli forces showed up to the attack at any point’.
He claimed that the soldiers sped off right before the settlers launched the attack.
