A chronic shortage of parking spaces in a Muharraq area could end soon after councillors approved a proposal to follow up on plans to build a facility on land cleared following the removal of fuel tanks and pipelines in 2022.
The proposal, which was submitted by Arad councillor Ahmed Al Meghawi, calls on the Works Ministry to provide an official update and timeline for the implementation of the project .
