Royal Medical Services (RMS) Commander and Central Committee for Transplantation of Human Organs chairman Brigadier General Dr Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that the national organ donation campaign embodies Bahrain’s commitment to compassion and solidarity, offering renewed hope to patients in need.Brig Gen Dr Shaikh Fahad highlighted that since the launch of the transplant programme in November 2023, King Hamad University Hospital has successfully completed 54 kidney and 19 liver transplants, a milestone reflecting the expertise of Bahraini medical teams and the leadership’s continued support .
