SNIC Insurance has obtained the ISO 27001:2022 certification for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), a significant milestone in strengthening the information security measures in alignment with international best practices. This achievement reflects SNIC’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the highest standards of security and stakeholder protection.
It is worth noting that ISO 27001:2022 is a globally recognized standard that outlines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Despite SNIC being a relatively young company with just 19 years of operation, SNIC takes pride in being among the first insurance companies in Bahrain to obtain both the ISO 27001:2022 certification for Information Security and the ISO 22301:2019 certification for Business Continuity Management, a milestone achieved in 2023. This reflects SNIC’s proactive approach to ensuring an effective Information Security Management System while committing to enhancing operational efficiency and meeting our customers’ needs.
