The festive season kicked off in spectacular style this weekend as St Christopher’s School Bahrain hosted its much-loved Christmas Fayre, transforming the Saar campus into a magical hub of joy, entertainment and community spirit.
Nearly 200 vendors lined up the bustling fairgrounds, offering Friday’s visitors an impressive selection of unique goods.
From handcrafted treasures and festive trinkets to mouth-watering food stalls, there was something to delight each of the more than 5,000 attendees.
Talented students added to the festive spirit with captivating performances throughout the evening. Whether singing beloved holiday classics or showcasing their theatrical flair, they truly stole the show and warmed the hearts of all who attended.
Principal Simon Watson praised the success and significance of the event, noting its deep roots within the school community. “The Festive Fayre, which has been a constant for decades, is a celebration of our vibrant St Christopher’s community and the warmth of the festive season,” he told the GDN.
“This year’s event was truly exceptional, thanks to the dedication of our students, staff and volunteers, as well as the tremendous support of our sponsors and partners.”
He added that it is always a joy to see families come together for such a cheerful occasion, extending heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Fayre unforgettable. “In recent years, we have added music and opportunities for children to perform festive songs and take part even more actively. The Fayre keeps getting better every year. This remarkable event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors.”
