The spotlight is firmly on the kingdom’s most inspiring female leaders as public voting opens for the Porsche Woman of the Year Awards 2025, ahead of the Grand Finale taking place on Saturday, December 6.
Organised by Red House Marketing, publishers of Woman This Month magazine, in collaboration with strategic partners, the awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of women across business, entrepreneurship, the creative industries, social service, sport and public life.
Shortlisted nominees represent a diverse cross-section of Bahrain’s economy and community – from CEOs and founders to social entrepreneurs, creatives, athletes, healthcare professionals and educators.
“A select number of categories are now open to public voting, giving the community a direct voice in recognising the women who inspire them,” said Red House Marketing publisher and founding director George Middleton. “These include categories such as Women in the Orange Economy (Creative), Woman in Sports, Woman in Social Service and Women in Service – Beauty & Wellness. Other, more specialised categories will be decided solely by an expert jury to reflect the need for professional sector-based evaluation.”
This year’s programme features multiple categories, including Women in Business, Women in the Orange Economy (Creative Industries), Women in Service, Women in Sports, Women in Social Service, and the regional Woman of Arabia Achievement Award. Each nominee has been evaluated through a structured process involving a technical review, expert jury scoring and independent auditing to ensure transparency and integrity.
Members of the public can review nominee profiles and cast their votes via the official website www.womanoftheyearawards.com. Voting is open now and will close on November 30.
The Grand Finale will start from 6pm on December 6 in the Grand Ballroom at The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa. It will bring together nominees, partners and supporters for an evening of recognition, networking and live entertainment, as the winners are revealed and Bahrain’s outstanding women are honoured on stage.
While ticket sales are already underway, organisers stress that the heart of the event lies in celebrating the nominees and encouraging the wider community to support them by voting and attending the finale.
