The Central Bank of Bahrain’s (CBB) Equal Opportunities Committee held its third meeting of 2025, chaired by Shaikha Khalifa Al Khalifa, director of finance and head of the committee.
During the meeting, Shaikha Khalifa underscored the CBB’s commitment to empowering local talent and enhancing the role of women, aligning with broader national efforts led by the Supreme Council for Women to promote gender balance.
The committee also highlighted the importance of the HRH Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Global Award for Women’s Empowerment and discussed its action plan for upcoming initiatives, events, and meetings focused on equal opportunities and supporting women’s needs.
