Kuwaiti customs officials thwarted a drug smuggling attempt after discovering hashish concealed inside the intestines of a European passenger arriving from London.
Acting on intelligence, officers at Kuwait International Airport co-ordinated the suspect’s arrest. A subsequent medical examination confirmed the presence of narcotics in his intestines.
A total of 412 grams of hashish was extracted at a hospital following the arrest.
