His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday inaugurated Jewellery Arabia 2025 and Scent Arabia 2025 at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir, held under his patronage.
He outlined that Bahrain continues to showcase its ability to successfully host and deliver major specialised events and exhibitions across all sectors, supported by the kingdom’s advanced infrastructure and strong organisational capabilities.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to achieving greater accomplishments in line with national aspirations that prioritise continued success and excellence, contributing to the kingdom’s comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised the prominent role of the exhibitions and conferences sector in diversifying the national economy.
He affirmed Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to develop this vital sector to drive forward the kingdom’s tourism and development objectives, supporting economic growth, diversification and long-term sustainability.
Exhibitions serve as an important platform showcasing Bahrain’s extensive and diverse investment opportunities, he pointed out.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stated that Jewellery Arabia and Scent Arabia 2025 reflect the kingdom’s advanced infrastructure, attractive capabilities and distinguished national talent.
He added that both exhibitions further reinforce Bahrain’s position as a leading regional hub for exhibitions and conferences, driven by continuous development and innovation across various sectors.
HRH Prince Salman expressed appreciation to all organisers and teams involved in Jewellery Arabia and Scent Arabia for the outstanding preparation and organisation of this year’s edition, wishing them continued success.
Tourism Minister Fatima Al Sairafi affirmed that HRH Prince Salman’s patronage reflects his commitment to the development of the exhibitions and conferences sector, as one of the key drivers of economic growth and a fundamental pillar within Bahrain’s 2022–2026 tourism strategy.
The minister noted that Jewellery Arabia is one of the kingdom’s most prominent annual events, attracting many of the world’s leading jewellery houses.
She added that the exhibition supports promising national industries, foremost among them Bahrain’s gold and jewellery sector, renowned for its craftsmanship and rich heritage.
Ms Al Sairafi further highlighted the exhibition’s role in efforts to consolidate the kingdom’s position as a leading regional centre for major exhibitions and international events.
Several senior officials also attended the inauguration.
