The ferry service between Bahrain and Qatar has been suspended until further notice, due to 'inclement weather conditions', writes Naman Arora.
The new service, connecting passengers between Saadah Marina in Muharraq Island and Al Ruwais Port in Qatar, had been launched earlier this month, and became the first international passenger sea link between two Gulf countries.
However, the Masar mobile application, through which customers can book tickets, has been showing no available trips.
When reached, customer service agents advised that trips had been suspended due to weather conditions, and would resume once they could safely be completed.
