Safa, Bahrain’s national carbon offset and climate action platform, and a portfolio company of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), has announced a strategic collaboration with Reete, a GCC-based corporate retreat company specialising in leadership development, team building and wellbeing.
The partnership aims to integrate verified carbon offsets into corporate retreat programmes, allowing organisations to balance their retreat-related emissions and advance their sustainability and ESG goals. Through this collaboration, every Reete-designed retreat will include measurable carbon offset options powered by Safa’s accredited projects, ensuring that each experience contributes to Bahrain’s national sustainability agenda and global net-zero objectives.
Safa chief executive officer Talal Arif Al Araifi stated: “This partnership represents a meaningful step in connecting sustainability with experiential corporate programmes.
