Main streets and public squares across Bahrain have been adorned with images of the GCC leaders and the flags of the member states as part of the kingdom’s preparations to host the 46th GCC Summit today. The display reflects Bahrain’s pride in the journey of the GCC and its achievements in promoting Gulf co-operation and integration, as well as the kingdom’s warm welcome, from His Majesty King Hamad, the government, and the people, to the leaders of the GCC countries and visiting dignitaries .
