Investcorp Capital, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange-listed firm founded by Investcorp, announced it has acquired a $400 million diversified portfolio of US industrial real estate assets.
The deal, arranged by Investcorp, comprises 35 buildings totalling 2.6m square feet across resilient coastal markets in the eastern and western US.
The portfolio is 97 per cent occupied and includes properties in key markets such as: Sacramento, California (1.3m sqft logistics portfolio); North Atlanta, Georgia (814,000 sqft light industrial portfolio); Infill industrial assets in Philadelphia, Northern New Jersey, Long Island, Tampa, and South Florida.
Sana Khater, chief executive officer of Investcorp Capital, stated the transaction reinforces the company’s strategy of building a diversified portfolio of high-quality alternative assets and aligning with market tailwinds.
“The US industrial sector continues to demonstrate exceptional resilience and long-term potential,” said Investcorp Capital board member and Investcorp Global head of distribution Yusef Al Yusef. He added that the purchase reflects the company’s confidence in “high-quality, supply-constrained coastal markets.”
Investcorp Capital offers investors access to returns derived from a globally diversified portfolio of alternative investments. The firm noted it has successfully completed several profitable investment exits over the past 12 months while funding new private equity, real estate, and credit investments.
