A Bahraini parliamentary delegation, led by foreign affairs, defence and national security committee chairman Hassan Bu Khammas, concluded the fifth meeting between Bahrain and the European Union in Brussels.
Discussions centred on parliamentary co-operation, security issues and economic partnership. Mr Bu Khammas said discussions included establishing a structured dialogue framework to support regular follow-up, broadening legislative exchange and strengthening parliamentary diplomacy.
He highlighted shared regional and international security challenges, noting the importance of co-operation in areas such as cyber security and artificial intelligence, as well as Bahrain’s role as a partner that supports regional and global stability.
He also pointed to the significance of the Manama Dialogue as an international platform for addressing contemporary security issues.
