Investcorp Capital, a listed investor in private markets, announced it has acquired US-based Guardian Fire Services, a leading provider of fire and life safety services across the Northeastern, Southeastern, and Western US.
Guardian offers comprehensive fire protection services, including inspection, testing, maintenance, and installation of fire suppression and alarm systems, to commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational sectors.
The latest deal brings Investcorp Capital’s total new investment activity over the past six months to $1.1 billion. The Abu Dhabi-listed firm uses its holding company structure to provide investors with global alternative investment opportunities.
Investcorp Capital CEO Sana Khater said the acquisitions of Guardian and Kanawha Scales and Systems (KSS) “underscore the strategic importance of the US market to our overall portfolio.”
Chairman Mohammed Alardhi commented on the firm’s momentum. “The robust pace of new investment deployment highlights the power of our investment sourcing and origination engine,” he said.
