An interactive awareness pavilion for children’s activities, including drawing and colouring, has been set up at the Bahrain International Animal and Agriculture Production Show – Mara’ee 2025.
The Little Municipalities’ Village also features educational games aimed at raising awareness about the importance of recycling.
It’s being organised by the Southern Municipality, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad, until tomorrow.
Children learn how to recycle waste and plastic, paper, metal and glass materials by sorting them into specialised recycling bins.
Other activities at the pavilion include a puppet show featuring beloved cartoon characters such as Saeed and Droobi, which highlight the importance of cleanliness, preserving plants, trees and public facilities.
Civil societies such as Shaikha Hessa Bint Ali Al Khalifa Elderly Care Centre and Dar Al Manar for Parental Care have displayed recycled products such as naqda art and decoupage and wooden handicrafts.
Bahraini actor and social media influencer Albassam Ali entertained children and gave out gifts and prizes.
