Motorcity has been honoured with the prestigious Total Support (TS) Team Champion title at Hino’s 13th TS Skills Contest, reaffirming its position as one of the region’s leading automotive distributors.
In addition, the company also secured several individual awards, highlighting its strong technical expertise, customer-first approach and commitment to Hino’s ‘Total Support’ philosophy.
Organised annually by Hino Motors Middle East, the 2S Skills Contest evaluates service advisers, parts advisers and service technicians through rigorous technical and theoretical assessments.
The competition aims to enhance participant capabilities and strengthen their understanding of TS, a philosophy focused on maximising customer satisfaction, increasing vehicle uptime and fostering long-term partnerships.
Motorcity Spare Parts general manager Gopalakrishnan Venkatesan said the team’s accomplishments reflect high operational standards and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service. “Being recognised among the top performers in the Middle East and North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa regions further strengthens Motorcity’s position as a trusted leader in Bahrain’s commercial vehicle sector,” he added.
Motorcity head of service Padmanabhan Narayanan believes that the victory demonstrates the dedication, expertise and teamwork of aftersales professionals and the team’s ongoing investment in skill development to provide customers with reliable, high-quality support.
The 2025 edition introduced the TS concept, an advanced evaluation model that assesses not only individual competencies but also team collaboration, strategic problem-solving and the capability to deliver meaningful value across service and spare parts operations.
Motorcity’s success at the TS Skills Contest reinforces its reputation as a regional benchmark in heavy-vehicle service excellence and reflects the company’s continuous investment in its people, systems and customer-focused operations.
