Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tarik conferred the Military Order of Oman (Second Class) upon Lt.Gen Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force. This honour, bestowed by the Sultan, is in recognition of Lt.Gen Turki's efforts and contributions to strengthening the bonds of military cooperation between the two countries.
The order was presented by Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, when he received the Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force in his office at Al Murtafa’a Camp.
The ceremony was attended by Air Vice Marshal Khamis bin Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). It was also attended by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Oman and the Military Attaché of Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Muscat.
