His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, was yesterday briefed on plans to develop the Bahrain Defence Force’s (BDF) Royal Guard and equip it with advanced weapons and capabilities.
National Security Adviser, Royal Guard Commander and Supreme Defence Council secretary general Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Royal Guard’s Special Operations Commander Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa made the presentation to His Majesty during his visit to the Royal Guard as part of ongoing visits to BDF units .
