A prestigious award that honours the legacy of one of Bahrain’s most influential business leaders was recently announced by the Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) Bahrain Chapter.
The Farouk Almoayyed Bahraini Global Student Entrepreneur Award is being organised in collaboration with Almoayyed Computers Middle East (ACME).
The award aims to strengthen EO’s Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) programme, and identify, support and celebrate student entrepreneurs who are building impactful ventures while pursuing their education.
Almoayyed International Group chairman Mohammed Almoayyed said that the initiative will address a critical gap in supporting young innovators who are balancing academic pursuits with business development.
“This award represents more than recognition, it embodies our commitment to honouring Farouk Almoayyed’s vision of empowering future generations,” said Mr Almoayyed.
“We believe that by investing in student entrepreneurs today, we are building the foundation for Bahrain’s innovative economy of tomorrow.
“This initiative will create a lasting impact on our entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
GSEA Entrepreneurs’ Organisation Bahrain chairman Bob Thaker emphasised the transformative potential of the partnership.
“I extend my deepest gratitude to Almoayyed family for their unwavering belief in this initiative,” said Mr Thaker.
“This contribution not only honours the memory of Mr Farouk Almoayyed but also aligns with and advances the kingdom’s vision of nurturing a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.”
