Y K Almoayyed and Sons Electronics and Home Appliances, the sole distributor of IGNIS appliances in Bahrain, has officially announced the arrival of the new IGNIS T12HDRW, a state-of-the-art heat pump dryer with a massive 12kg capacity.
The arrival of this model is timed specifically to coincide with the ongoing winter season, offering a definitive solution to the common household struggle of drying heavy fabrics during colder days.
It is designed to address two primary concerns for local households – capacity and fabric care.
Unlike standard 7kg or 8kg dryers, this new arrival can easily accommodate 12kg capacity. Users can fit king-sized duvets, heavy winter blankets, and large family loads in a single cycle – items that typically take days to air-dry during this spell of weather.
YKA Electronics and Home Appliances Division general manager A C Dilip said that the group is thrilled to bring the new pump dryer to the kingdom. “We identified a clear gap in the market,” he said.
“Families here need a dryer that is powerful enough to handle heavy winter bedding but gentle enough for delicate garments.
“This new arrival is our answer to that need. With the winter season upon us, line-drying is often impossible. The T12HDRW allows our customers to bypass the weather entirely.”
He added that it is an investment in convenience giving users warm, dry and sterilised laundry in minutes, regardless of the forecast outside.
The T12HDRW utilises advanced heat pump technology, which recycles hot air to dry clothes at lower, more consistent temperatures.
This ensures maximum energy efficiency, a much-needed saving on electricity bills, while protecting delicate woollens and fabrics from shrinking or machine heat damage.
It also features a condenser-less operation requirement, thanks to improved heat pump technology, meaning it does not require external venting and can be installed anywhere in the home.
