Slovenian Prime Minister Dr Robert Golob, received a number of Arab foreign ministers, including Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, during their official visit to Slovenia.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Foreign Affairs Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdulla Al Saud; Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister Ayman Safadi; Egyptian Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty; and Qatar Foreign Affairs Minister Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.
Dr Al Zayani also met Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign and European Affairs Minister Tanja Fajon.
The meeting reviewed relations between Bahrain and Slovenia and means to strengthen co-operation across economic, investment, and trade domains in support of shared interests, including efforts to prepare agreements aimed at deepening co-operation in areas of mutual interest.
Dr Al Zayani took part in the dialogue session organised by the Bled Strategic Forum in Ljubljana.
He noted that the meeting was held to continue close co-ordination regarding the central challenge facing the Middle East over the past two years, namely ending the war in Gaza, and to express appreciation for Slovenia’s firm positions on the Palestinian cause, its commitment to international law, and its support for peace and justice.
Dr Zayani later attended a Press conference where he highlighted the importance of strengthening joint co-operation, both collectively and bilaterally.
