A primary school student in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, surprised his classmates by giving away gold bangles as a token of appreciation.
The child brought six gold bangles from his home and began distributing them to his friends during the school day. The situation came to light when a teacher spotted the student wearing a gold ornament himself. Upon being questioned, the boy admitted he had taken the items from his mother’s drawer because he wanted to give his friends something special.
On hearing this, the teacher promptly collected the jewellery from the other children and handed it to the school administration for safekeeping. The school then contacted the student's guardian to collect the items.
The principal took the opportunity to edify the young student on the importance of honesty and respecting family property, turning the innocent gesture into a valuable life lesson.
