Abdulwahab Abdulla Abdulwahab is the latest Bahraini to land a dream seafront home after winning the August Thara’a Prize Account draw organised by the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB).
His prize is a luxury seafront villa at the Al Naseem development in Diyar Al Muharraq, marking the second villa awarded under NBB’s 2026 Thara’a campaign.
The campaign features six seafront properties, alongside a wide range of cash prizes being offered throughout the year.
Mr Abdulwahab received the keys to his new home during a special handover ceremony held giving him his first glimpse inside the property and marking what NBB described as the beginning of a new chapter for the winner.
The Al Naseem development offers residents a seafront lifestyle complemented by a range of residential and community amenities.
The August draw was conducted on September 15 under the supervision of representatives from the Industry and Commerce Ministry, as well as NBB’s internal and external auditors, in line with regulatory requirements.
Commenting on the win, NBB Retail Banking chief executive Subah Al Zayani congratulated Mr Abdulwahab.
“Winning is always a special moment, and even more so when the prize is a seafront home. We congratulate Mr Abdulwahab on this wonderful win and look forward to celebrating many more winners in the months ahead,” he said.
The biggest Thara’a prizes of the year are still to come, with December set to feature two more seafront villas and a $1 million cash prize, giving three winners the chance to take home the campaign’s grand prizes.
NBB has also opened a double-chance period for customers. Those who deposit before October 1 and maintain their balance until the December Grand Prize Draw can increase their chances of winning.
The Thara’a Prize Account can be opened and funded through the NBB mobile app or at any NBB branch.
NBB said Thara’a continues to give customers regular opportunities to win substantial prizes throughout the year.
