The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain will shortly unveil the property’s grand Ramadan tent, Layali Al Noor, described by its creators as the ‘newest and most opulent’ venue in the kingdom.
Designed to elevate the spirit of the holy month, this expansive space aims to bring together cultural heritage, contemporary design and luxury in one breathtaking setting.
Accommodating more than 750 guests, the hall offers five distinct locations, making it ideal for everything from intimate family iftars to large-scale corporate ghabga gatherings. State-of-the-art facilities, live entertainment and a flexible layout ensures every occasion feels seamless and memorable, its designers say.
The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s general manager Bernard de Villèle said: “At The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, we believe Ramadan is an opportunity to create something truly meaningful for the community that goes beyond the expected and leaves a lasting impression.
“Set to gentle oud melodies, Layali Al Noor becomes more than a venue; it is a sanctuary of culture, flavour and hospitality.”
Guests will arrive through a striking glass-walled promenade with the ceiling revealing views of the surrounding landscape and evening sky. From the illuminated entrance arch, a calm sense of arrival unfolds, guided by soft greenery and elegant architectural details.
Rooted in tradition, yet distinctly modern, the hall has been conceived as a contemporary garden oasis that connects the Tent, Grand Foyer, Al Ghazal ballroom, Al Noor ballroom and a dedicated Kids Area into one cohesive experience. Inspired by Bahrain’s land, nature and sea, the design weaves layered foliage, natural textures and floral accents into an atmosphere of ‘warmth, serenity and understated beauty’.
The open-sky tent, with its glass walls and ceiling, feels light and airy, while the Grand Foyer extends this ambience through sculptural centrepieces, framed culinary displays, 50-plus food stations and dessert selections from around the world.
Soft ambient lighting enhances the sense of flow, and even the Kids Area reflects the same visual harmony; playful yet elegant.
Balancing grandeur with comfort, the Grand Foyer’s space evokes the richness of an Arabian hanging gardens. Al Ghazal with influences of a traditional suq meet palace-like sophistication, with purple and brass accents, while the expansive Al Noor ballroom showcases a combination of Victorian sophistication and Arabic arches, and lantern-lit textures creating a welcoming, timeless environment that invites guests to gather and linger.
For more exclusive moments, private alcoves offer elevated ghabga experiences with full privacy and complete culinary indulgence.
In partnership with BBK and CrediMax, this collaboration enhances the Ramadan experience through shared values of generosity, togetherness and meaningful celebration throughout the holy month.
Mr de Villèle added: “Our partnership with BBK and CrediMax allows us to launch the new Ramadan experience into a destination that is richer, more immersive and more memorable, combining exceptional culinary artistry, awe-inspiring design and the legendary service for which The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain is known.
“We look forward to welcoming BBK and CrediMax cardholders to experience a Ramadan celebration that is bigger in spirit, deeper in connection, and unmistakably refined.”
