His Majesty King Hamad received journalist and author Sawsan Al Shaer, who presented the first copy of her book Isa Al Kabeer: Founder of the Modern State, at Al Sakhir Palace. The book’s release coincides with the royal order naming this year “Year of Isa Al Kabeer,” in honour of the founder of the modern Bahraini state, and the 25th anniversary of the National Action Charter .
