Bahrain and Oman have affirmed their commitment to advance their partnership for the benefit of both countries.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighted the strength of the partnership as he met Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said in Muscat yesterday.
The strengthened ties will help achieve shared aspirations, in line with the visions of His Majesty King Hamad and Sultan Haitham, he said.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of the King to Sultan Haitham, along with His Majesty’s best wishes for Oman’s continued progress and prosperity.
In return, Sultan Haitham conveyed his greetings to the King and expressed his wishes for Bahrain’s continued growth and prosperity.
HRH Prince Salman expressed his pride in the depth of the relationship and the progress achieved across various sectors.
He underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral co-operation.
During the meeting, avenues to advance co-operation across sectors and issues of common interest were discussed.
A lunch banquet was then held by Sultan Haitham in honour of HRH Prince Salman.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who was accompanied by a high-level delegation, later returned to Bahrain.
