His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the Amir of Qatar, Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as part of His Royal Highness’s visit to Qatar.
His Royal Highness highlighted the longstanding relations between Qatar and Bahrain, supported by His Majesty King Hamad and Shaikh Tamim.
HRH Prince Salman conveyed the greetings of King Hamad to the Qatari Amir, along with His Majesty’s best wishes for Qatar’s continued progress and prosperity.
In turn, Shaikh Tamim conveyed his greetings to King Hamad and expressed his wishes for Bahrain’s continued growth and prosperity.
His Royal Highness and Shaikh Tamim exchanged greetings on the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, and wished peace upon the Arab and Islamic nations.
HRH Prince Salman underscored the shared commitment to further advancing the Bahrain-Qatar partnership to create opportunities that benefit both countries and realise common aspirations.
During the meeting, avenues to advance cooperation across sectors and issues of common interest were discussed.
HRH Prince Salman attended a lunch banquet hosted by Shaikh Tamim, in honour of His Royal Highness and the accompanying delegation during their visit to Qatar.
