His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, issued an edict appointing directors at the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments directorates, based on a proposal by the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry.
Abdulla Rashid Abdulla Ali has been appointed as Director of the Mosques and Religious Facilities Directorate and Ali Abdulrahman Yousif Matar as Director of the Investment and Endowment Affairs Directorate at the Sunni Endowments.
Hassan Abdulali Abdulla Al Khatem has been appointed as Director of the Mosques and Religious Facilities Directorate and Ali Ibrahim Ahmed Al Ghazal as Director of the Investment and Endowment Affairs Directorate at the Jaafari Endowments.
The Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister shall implement the provisions of this edict, which shall take effect from the date of issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issued another edict approving the General Policies of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), based on a proposal by the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA) board of directors chairman and following the approval of Cabinet.
Article I of the edict stipulates that the General Policies of the National Qualification Framework (NQF) attached to this edict shall be approved.
Article II of the edict stipulates that Edict (12) of 2015 approving the General Policies of the NQF issued by the Quality Assurance Authority for Education and Training (QAAET), as well as Edict (17) of 2019 on the General Framework for Academic Programme Reviews under the Directorate of Higher Education Reviews of the Education and Training Quality Authority, are hereby repealed. Any provisions inconsistent with this edict are also repealed.
Article III says this edict and its accompanying policies shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into effect on the day following the date of publication.
