The General Consulate of the State of Kuwait in Houston held a celebratory event marking the 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day of Kuwait.
The consulate extended its highest congratulations and blessings to the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Shaikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah and the Kuwaiti people.
The event was attended by senior American officials, including representatives from the Houston Mayor's Office Gigi Lee, consuls general from Gulf, Arab, and international countries, along with prominent political, business, and community figures, and Kuwaiti citizens and students residing in the consular district.
The consulate also announced February 25 as a Friendship Day between Houston and Kuwait, reinforcing cultural ties and cooperation, while highlighting Kuwait's national heritage, achievements, and the longstanding strategic partnership between the two communities.
