His Majesty King Hamad received messages from leaders of several countries in which they expressed solidarity and deep concern over the Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain.
His Majesty received a written message from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan.
In the message, President Tokayev conveyed his support and solidarity with Bahrain and its people, affirming Kazakhstan’s condemnation of any actions that threaten the sovereignty, security and stability of states. He stressed that Kazakhstan believes in the importance of prioritising dialogue and diplomatic means as the most effective path to resolving international disputes.
He also affirmed his country’s readiness to provide any possible support within the framework of the strong ties of friendship binding the two countries, founded on mutual respect, shared values and close relations.
President Tokayev wished His Majesty continued success and Bahrain and its people lasting prosperity and well-being.
His Majesty received a written message from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan, in which he expressed support and solidarity with Bahrain in light of the sharp escalation witnessed in the Middle East and the hostile military acts targeting the kingdom.
In the message, President Mirziyoyev expressed his deep regret over the Iranian aggression, which occurred during the holy month of Ramadan, affirming his country’s full support for His Majesty and for the people of Bahrain. HE also affirmed Uzbekistan’s condemnation of any acts that threaten the sovereignty of states, the integrity of their territories, and their security and stability.
President Mirziyoyev expressed confidence in the wisdom of His Majesty and Bahrain’s ability to overcome this phase with dignity and resolve.
His Majesty received a telephone call from Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan.
Lt-Gen Al Burhan expressed Sudan’s solidarity with Bahrain and condemned the Iranian attacks targeting it, affirming his country’s support for all measures taken by the kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, security and stability.
His Majesty affirmed that the people of Bahrain are peaceful and believe in tolerance and coexistence, and that the kingdom remains committed to the path of peace and supports everything that enhances security and stability in the region and the world.
His Majesty also expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation for Sudan’s support and the genuine solidarity expressed by Lt-Gen Al Burhan.
His Majesty received a phone call from Dr Mohammed Al Menfi, Chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council.
Dr Al Menfi expressed Libya’s solidarity with Bahrain and condemned the Iranian attacks targeting it. He affirmed his country’s full support for all measures taken by the kingdom to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability.
His Majesty affirmed that the people of Bahrain are peaceful and believe in tolerance and coexistence, and that the kingdom remains committed to the path of peace and supports everything that enhances security and stability in the region and the world.
His Majesty also expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation for Libya’s support and the genuine solidarity conveyed by Dr Al Menfi.
